As a growing company, we are seeking driven and passionate interns to join our team this summer. You will gain hands-on experience in event planning, talent booking, and venue scouting, while learning from seasoned professionals. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in event management, music booking, or the hospitality and entertainment sectors.
Internship Overview:
As a Summer Intern at Elevator Music Group (EMG), you will work directly alongside our founder and event planning team to help conceptualize, plan, and execute live events. You’ll be deeply involved in all stages of event production, from venue selection and DJ scouting to budget creation and event logistics. This program will allow you to develop key skills and insights into the world of event coordination, talent management, and the music industry.

Assist in the planning and execution of upcoming events, collaborating with venues, vendors, and partners.

Help identify and research potential event venues and spaces that align with the vision and objectives of specific events.

Assist in sourcing, scouting, and booking DJs, performers, and other talent for events, utilizing our extensive network and conducting outreach to new talent.

Help create budgets for events, ensuring that financial considerations are met while maintaining the event’s quality and experience.

Support the team in coordinating logistics for events, including scheduling, transportation, and equipment setup.

Assist in promoting events through social media, email campaigns, and other marketing efforts.
Qualifications:
Passion for music, event planning, and the entertainment industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
Creative thinking and a keen eye for detail.
Organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, Docs/Slides).
Prior experience or interest in event planning, music promotion, or hospitality is a plus.
Self-motivated and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
