Summer internship program
Elevator Music Group is an event agency curating experiences through live music and DJ performances with venues, hospitality groups, house music collectives, bars and social clubs across NYC. We're looking for driven interns who want a career in event management, music booking or hospitality.
You'll work directly with the founder and the event team on every stage of production: venue selection, DJ scouting, budgets and logistics.
- Event planning and execution: help plan and run upcoming events with venues, vendors and partners.
- Venue scouting: research spaces that fit each event's vision.
- DJ and talent booking: source and book talent using our network, and reach out to new artists.
- Budgets: build event budgets that protect quality and margin.
- Logistics: scheduling, transport and equipment setup.
- Marketing: social, email and promotion for each event.
You: passionate about music and events, a strong communicator, creative, organized under deadlines, comfortable with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, and self-motivated.
You get: money, and the knowledge of how to make it in this industry on your own; hands-on experience with top venues and DJs; mentorship; a network; and a path to future roles at EMG.
